Jeannine Ann Abbott

Jeannine Ann Abbott, 92, passed away on Thursday, March 7th, 2024.

She was born on December 17, 1931, in Flora, Illinois, the daughter of Fred Kitley and Evelyn Lindsey Kitley.

She has lived in many places over the years including Jackson's Mill WV, Wooster OH, and Cambridge OH. In later years she lived with her daughter, Barbara (David) Gray in Gulfport FL, Largo FL, Taylors SC, Travelers Rest SC, New Palestine IN, and in Ocala FL at the time of her passing. 

She was a multi-talented lady, who in her working years, worked as an upholsterer, seamstress, and baker. She loved crocheting, sewing, crossword puzzles, gardening, cooking, and for a short period of time, she enjoyed painting. Her greatest pleasure was being with her family and attending any and all family functions. She loved nature and could sit for hours on her children's porches watching birds, squirrels, and other creaatures that might venture into the yard. Her loving and helpful nature was a blessing to all. 

She will be deeply missed by her chidlren, Barbara (David) Gray of Ocala FL, Vicki (Joe) Filipovich of Mineral Ridge OH, and Cheryl (Mike) Clawser of Hernando FL; Grandchildren; Stacy Fisher of Dunedin FL, and George (Rachel) Basista of Mineral Ridge OH; Great Grandchildren; Blake Basista and Reid Basista of Mineral Ridge OH; Brother Norman Kitley of Charleston IL.

Burial will take place at a later date at Crown Hill Burial Park in Vienna Oh.
